So the police video has already been making the rounds on YouTube and Facebook, but it's finally up here at the website. What do y'all think?
In fact...this may not even be the finished video. While the police loved it, the Chief suddenly changed his mind and decided he wants even more info included in regards to general on-campus safety tips. We're still waiting to hear back from them on whether or not we've got to add more stuff. Until then, enjoy how awesome it already is.

I loved it.
I lol'd because I thought my door was closed (I don't like to show any emotion around my roommates except 'drunk') but it was open. My façade is ruined because of you cutting off Tyler several times.
Also wtf Jake's Kelly looks just like a mini Kelly Perry on screen... maybe it's just me.

Funny but Terry's part is still predictable, didn't stop me from laughing but could see it coming.

Very funny.
Glad to see you guys are making a difference for the safety of the students at UIC. I was just in Chicago recently and those alert stations are the same exact ones we have at Central Florida. That company must have a monopoly on security.
A question though. Did you guys approach the police to do this project or were they looking for someone and you fit the bill?

The police went to the Moving Image department at UIC looking for students to do the project. They met with Jennifer Reeder, who recommended they come to us. So we met with them and took the gig. Turning out to be more trouble than it's worth as they just sent a list of things they suddenly want added...and apparently some corrected information that was wrong when they first gave it to us...
If they had their act together, it woulda been a great experience. Now it's moving into hassle territory...

I was gonna add it...then I realized that the new site will soon render that entire list completely useless. Everything will be streaming flash movies from now on, no more downloads...

It might be an idea to keep the downloads too so people have the option of wmv or flash player videos.
Some people can't watch Flash video but can watch WMV.
