bah, getting shot at in afghanistan is the equivilant of a handshake... a deadly handshake.. but a handshake.

Its those IEDs we look out for. No Canadian soldier has been killed in direct contact with the Taliban... save for the first female soldier who was blown up by an RPG of all things.

I'll be taking plenty pics when im over there too and i'll post some here if i can.

Most Canadians watch South Park. I used to; I remember seeing the movie in theatres way back when... it was funny as fuck. Canadian jokes don't bother us at all lol.

See a lot of us Canadians find it hilarious about how wrong the stereotypes people have about us.

As far as Afghanistan goes, its a good go (plus the extra 38k tax free dollars is nice!), this will be my first time and I'm excited to live in a desert for six months, deal with the extremely hot conditions, smell that glorious shit smell because most afghans don't invest in proper sewage systems and get to hang with other militaries. I will be taking pics so my adventures will be posted.

^Gotta follow up with that. I have a canadian friend I always hang out with, and he laughs at alot of the stuff that america says about them. Such as when I shown him Canadian Idoit (the song by Weird Al) he had so much fun listening to it.
