Hmm....what about that article from Kiziko saying that the game was already done? Eh...oh well........Kinda sad now. I do love TGE 3....but I was still hoping for a game ending...

Dear Yu Suzuki,
GIVE US THE FUCKING STORY.
I don't give a shit about the game, just want to know how it ends.
Oh well, you guys can be famous for being the only guys to make an ending for it!
But seriously:
EDIT: I should read the article before posting.
This doesn't mean there won't be a Shenmue 3 just because he's taking early retirement. I thought the article was Sega confirming it will never be made...

*nods* Yeah, you have you read the article first...doesn't sound like the end of Shenmue 3 to me, just the end of it being the same as the last games if it ever comes out. But my main comment on this whole thing, is just going to be a copy and paste of another guy's comment:
None of this probably would've had happened if the big suits at Sega/Sammy didn't act like idiots and treated their employees with respect. Now look. Sonic Team is burned out. Sonic's name was flushed down the toilet, and one of Sega's biggest brains has stepped down after being ignored. You know something's wrong when Sega fans don't even like or respect Sonic anymore. That's like Nintendo fans not liking Mario or Link.
God Speed Mr. Suzuki. And F you Sega. ~ EdwardoMario16

I agree with that.
Yu Suzuki should just take the game away from Sega and he could work on it with his own company. Or just independently release it as a CG movie/book/comic/website press release/scribble on napkin just to finish the god damn story!
It's a shame MS didn't use the rights to give us Shenmue 3 on Xbox like they did with 2.
I know this reply might be a few months too late, considering this topic's not had any replies since August, but I wouldn't leave the possibility of there being a Shenmue III off the table yet. After all, there have been many game franchises that have had long times between new sequels and remakes.
Bionic Commando and Bomberman are some prime examples of franchises being rebooted via remakes, though it should come as no surprise that these remakes garnered horrible reviews.
For Shenmue III, I'm predicting that SEGA might re-release the first two games and the third game in order to appeal to the newer generation of gamers and perhaps to finally allow the ability to carry over items from one completed game to the next. Considering I have played the Xbox version of Shenmue II, I was dissapointed to learn that only the Dreamcast version of the games had this ability.
Lucky japanese folk.

August, I meant August. I was relatively tired when I wrote my last reply so I accuse sleepiness.

Also, Shenmue 2 was released on Dreamcast in Europe.
Okay... So lucky japanese AND european folk.
I've actually been unaware that an english version of Shenmue II existed for the Sega Dreamcast until now.
But I digress, I solemnly believe Shenmue III will be made. Though considering SEGA are asshats when it comes to taking chances in this modern age and relying too much on Sonic for sales, it's going to be a while.

It was Japanese with English subtitles.

I don't want Sega to make it anymore. I want Yu Suzuki to just give us the story now.

Yeah, idiots should stop buying every crappy Sonic game that comes out.

Come SEGA, stop being a bunch of collective cockfags and take a chance wi... oh... what's that? Seems they can't hear me over the development of yet another Sonic game.
